Somersault would technically be older and more important. I miss him. Truly. I saw personally his contribution vs. his endurance.

Dude was brilliant, sincere, suffered. He never received the thanks for his contribution in creating a place for expression that has survived so many years. He had other intelligent obsessions not related to child love at all, which he allowed me to know and see for myself in person.

And yet, the twinkle in his eye said he knew he would never live to see our acceptance, but we would definitely carry it on, all of it.

No joke. That was my experience. He is (obviously) no longer with us.
