I remember when I watched TV for the very first time in an English-speaking country. There was a text "Parental guidance" on the TV screen, and in the movie a man was beating a young woman so that blood splattered. I thought that Parental Guidance was the name of that movie, that the man was the father and the woman was his daughter.

This is not even a joke, I really thought so first.
