I suspect military aerial technology is likely decades further along than most people know. At some point they realized admitting what technology they have is anathema to er... wait, I never used that word. I mean, admitting your capabilities compromises those capabilities sooner, so now they just show us things like drones with a propeller. It's almost comical.
