Personally? I look at disparate sources with differing goals from different nations, and if I am lucky, I can spot the undercurrent of truth (facts) which is sticking to all.

It is then when I start to see why the interpretations are so different.

I would link a favorite old Steely Dan tune again, but I sense not to.
