Progress requires martyrs

People being publicly out and activists for pedophilia seem the only way to make any progress here. Online activists seem to just get immediately shut down and hated, and with few exceptions only academics read academic articles. Those that were publicly out to their family and friends did seem to make a lot of progress with those specific people. If things tended in that direction I think we could be where homosexuals are today in some decades.
