I wore glasses for most of my life. After both my eye surgeries, I wear glasses only to read close up. For me, everything wasn't getting grey or white. I didn't know it, but everything was yellow! The first operation showed me just how yellow everything was! Wow.

I know that you know but other people thinking seriously about cataract surgery won't know... yet... that the surgery is really short and painless. For me, the scary part was being scared.

And, yeah, put the eye drops in religiously. You don't want to get an infection.
