I only know that they are kind of anonymous but not really (if you buy them with your credit card through exchange). There are methods to make them more difficult to trace, but I am in no position to advise anyone. I am still stuck at the part where you have to open an e-mail account. Also, my PC is throwing errors when I try to install bitcoin wallet. I will keep fighting but I am a noob at this.
