AIDS is a death sentence, but it's not very transmissible. Oh and by the way, anti retro virals have advanced a lot and vaccines could be a decade away, so we could eradicate AIDS in a couple of decades. That could trigger a new sexual revolution and lead in a chain of events to pedo contact being legalized. I'll be too old by then I guess but our kids may not.

Herpes is mild; it is just sores (Unless you're already immunocompromised but that's a separate issue).

Both are pandemics because both are widespread.



And of course, there are probably asymptomatic cases which become immune, which complicates it all.
