To the point that both were globalist neolibs / neocons then yes. And of course, both were awful for CL and children issues, just in different ways. Domestically though, Dubya was more Patriot Act, NSA and TSA while Soetoro was higher taxes, bailouts, and gun control. Internationally, the former sent more U.S. servicemen to be killed or to pillage and torture and pandered to Islamophobia; while the latter preferred drones, more U.N., and pandering to militant Islamism. The former aligned himself with Asian cartels and the latter with Latin American ones. Their favorite countries to destabilize for fun were also different. So yes, there are differences. |
