I don't want to remember my childhood home when...

...I go to bed. It makes me convulsively sad.

Sparkling sunshine from the open south window, sparkling green grass outside, a mild wind that makes the window creak a little, our mother doing something, maybe busy sweeping the floor, father repairing something outside, we children playing on the floor...

And only death lives in the rooms.
