My cool friend from high school had not only a bright orange plaid pair of old-man shorts (which he eventually gave me to look more hip), but a t-shirt with the face of a bright and smiley Alice the maid, from The Brady Bunch, with the simple caption:

Anyone for flapjacks?

I will never find that t-shirt anywhere today, because the light-hearted quirky Alices of the world are dead. DEAD!
