By the Fourth Revelation, I had to reference my Rolodex of experience, and tell the story of the guy in my group of high school friends who dared to come out as gay to me while we were standing in the ocean. FINALLY! He stopped being such a faggot and stopped inserting his gayness into the unrelated work conversation. That's how today's "OUT" people feel to me in 2021: "What exactly is it about you that I must validate approval for?" (Nod to sans: all my blathering is toward US culture.) |
