I would agree with you. However, I would guess that there actually was a human being that the thirteen followers were all excited about. Was he God? No. Was there crucifixions? Absolutely. Romans were good at it. Was there a resurrection? Absolutely not. Was it a virgin birth? Probably not but that doesn't mean that there CAN'T be virgin births. Deposits at the front door are common. And stuff still can find a way to enter without breaking in. What is done then is pure biology. But, yeah, it's very rare.
