The entire antiped position is thoroughly retarded and, as I said, pseudoscientific. But these blithering Reddit idiots, retarded or not, hold a lot of power, so it is imperative that we somehow gain a foothold on this platform.
It's evident from the ambiguous language of the rule that it is arbitrarily enforced at admins' discretion. I agree, though, that activism geared toward the elimination of the stigma against pedophilia does not necessarily encourage or amount to promoting pedophilia per se; such activism would not somehow "recruit" more people into the attraction to minors, and it would most likely not encourage MAPs to be more daring and attempt to engage sexually with minors (or in related criminal activities), at least not while doing so remains illegal.
I actually once made a Reddit account via Tor for the express purpose of debating these fools on the matter. As expected, they busted out with the usual canard (e.g., "children can't consent," "their underdeveloped brains prevent them from being able to comprehend the 'complexity' of sex," "children having sex with adults specifically, but not with other children, causes trauma"), personal attacks, and refusal to discuss in good faith. Then, I was quickly reported and banned.
By the way, do you know of any secure, free email services that don't require confirmation via phone number or other email address? I used to use CounterMail, but they no longer offer free trials.
It occurred to me just now that Parler, the relatively new "free speech social network" right-wingers have taken advantage of as an alternative to Twitter, might be a suitable platform for our activism efforts. What do ya'll think?
