I understand, but

I've heard a lot of people saying we should be locked down since this has appeared. Many countries have been locked down more often than not since this has appeared and I know from a friend many areas of California have been locked down since this all started. No haircuts for 9 months yikes.

So it doesn't seem to matter. You can have everyone vulnerable to it locked down. Or everyone who worries about it. Just don't go out till its over. Or just have the people it affects locked down and allow society to continue. I don't know of any first world countries other than small island nations that have successfully locked down and not had it come back.

I'm very concerned about how quickly the lockdowns have concentrated wealth in the hands of the already very powerful and will continue to do so until they end. That alone is enough reason for me, but I quoted some more above.
