Don't ever put encrypted files on the web for any length of time. Brute force attacks are getting pretty sophisticated and might be able to crack your "strong" encryption.
If you have text that needs to be locked up, try this:

I use it. From what I've read, even the NSA cannot break into a soundly created locked file. Which, by the way, they are trying to force a back door into it. That, of course, cannot be done because VeraCrypt is open source and a back door would be (1) blatantly obvious and (2) easily circumvented.
