I've never been in a Canadian prison so I don't really know. But the maximum security prison I was in was for all inmates with my particular conviction. I was, at one point, a resident of a death row prison but only as a temporary inmate. My permanent prison's isolation block was being renovated and we had to be temporarily housed elsewhere. While I was there, they did have one execution. I could have watched them escort the guy across the courtyard a couple days before his ultimate journey but I had slept through it.
Regarding this post and every post I write about myself describing my past, be advised that I was tried, convicted, sentenced to a very long time in prison, and I served the complete sentence. Be further advised that I am no longer practicing illegal activities today and that I refrain from doing so by my own choice, not from fear of legal entanglements or society's outrage. I remain crime free because I choose to.
