I have the notes of this piece (below), but the difficult fast trill in the very beginning disheartened me. As far as I can remember, it should be done with the ring finger while the middle finger is pressed against the fingerboard, and the finger position is clumsy and difficult.
I love this sonata. I heard it the first time played by Laurindo Almeida. I saved it on a cassette... oh, it was some time ago. I was young.

This piece (below)... I played it better than Sonata. As a child I saw pictures of Manila and Rio de Janeiro. They were indescribably far. Armi Kuusela, Miss Universum, had married some businessman in the Philippines. And the Sugarloaf Mountain was very far, and Brazil was just sunshine, heat, boys and maybe girls too kicking a ball... just a dream.
But in the end both places became quite familiar to me, and the world became so little.
