...though a moderate one, some kind of a Social Democrat, though I have never been a member of any party -- of course not, it would be stupid in my mind.

If Iäve been asked about it, I have always said that I am a moderate leftist or impartial or nonaligned or neutral (but no a centrist, it sounds for fucking conventional).
