Where is the female scientist who will put everything on the line like that? There's no female equivalent of Bruce Rind, either.

There are more aggressive risk-takers in the male population than in the female. We suffer a lot of heavy losses but sometimes have big payoffs that way.

If a female takes a big risk, it's usually by investing in some man who turns out to be a loser, or was a loser from the get-go (e.g. thug who called her from prison after picking out her name randomly from the phone book, and gave her a lot of attention and promises of a happy future together, so that she fell in love and started obeying what he told her to do).
