That article - from over four years ago - is relying on information from David Finkelhor, so it's less than ideal. He notes that most abusers are not pedophiles (which is true), but while he admits that some pedophiles are not abusers he does not make clear that most pedophiles are not abusers.

Still, I have been seeing a slightly greater willingness among the public lately to acknowledge that pedophilia and abuse are not identical.
