Elites are compelled by the logic of the institutions to maximize threat to the future generation, and by functioning within the system they are threatening the very existence of organized life. The current political party enabling elites is not insane, it is planed, its conscious policies escalate problems with ecology, finance, and social life.
The elite clearly know what is being done. The elite just doesn't care!
