We would like to encourage GC users to submit to us fiction that they would like to have posted, or hosted, on this site.

Note that priority will be given to fiction that is (1) short, and (2) of sufficient quality that we would have a natural desire to read it.

While we have no interest in censorship, this must be maintained on GC in order to ensure the longevity of the board. For this reason, submitted stories that may violate the laws of relevant jurisdictions may need to be edited or excluded from consideration. This would include anything that could be construed as pornographic or obscene. E.g.:

R. v. Beattie
COURT OF APPEAL FOR ONTARIO
On August 15, 2001, the police entered the home of the respondent John Beattie. They seized a three-ring binder containing thirty-three stories describing, in graphic language, sexual activities between adults and children under the age of fourteen. Mr. Beattie was charged with a single count of possessing child pornography contrary to s. 163.1(4) of the Criminal Code. He pleaded not guilty.
