Teenage boys get up to some stupid things, sometimes just for a lark.

I recall being told about a group of teenage boys who almost got themselves killed trying to break into a highly secure facility. They just wanted to see if they could do it, and didn't stop to think about just how highly secure it was. One of the guards just barely noticed something that gave away that they were not adults and held fire - that's the only reason they lived.
