Me too

My experiences mirror yours. I too was raised in the Church of Rome. I left it because I could not get my head around the idea that if I masturbated, I would surely go to Hell. Which meant I spent an inordinate amount of time in the confessional telling the good father that I 'had been impure'.

This is the church that forbids its clergy to marry or to have any sexual activity including masturbation in their lives. Well, we know how that has turned out don't we! It is a natural requirement for men to find sexual relief one way or another. It is, imo, throwing God's gifts back in his face if we don't avail ourselves of his gifts; sex being one of them.

Anyways, I'm now desirous of coming back to this world as a Bonobo.
