Credit card debt today is idiotically high. If people begin dying off with all that debt, the poor bankers will have to go on unemployment. Can't have that now, can we?

I went to my bank last week and told them that I could not make any more payments on my credit card (maxed out). Read this carefully now: my bank replied to me, "Well, you need to call the credit card company, itself. Here at (my bank), we can offer you another loan if you wish." They offered me another $5,000 UNSECURED loan!

I should have taken them up on it. But I feel bad that I'm going to burn the credit card company a helluva lot more than just $5k. I mean, I like (my bank). There is this one pretty Chinese teller that..... never mind. Off topic, anyway.
