After people got over this stupid story, some government official got in trouble for having "anime style figurines" in his office. It's fucking dumb as hell. Not to mention they tried to use Sword Art Online (an objectively bad anime) to exemplify child abuse in anime.

But hey, it's Australia. They've demonized everything from video games to cars, so why not anime too? I just pretend that continent doesn't exist.
