You would need to illustrate this better

Because I'm not following.

Although in a way it seems children are treated in society as if their lives are of greater importance than an adult. The sentence for killing a child is typically longer than the sentence for killing an adult.

In order of worth, it seems to be children women men. Killing a child is worse than killing a woman. Killing a woman is worse than killing a man.
In terms of crime, it seems staining a child with sex is worse than killing a child.

That is of course if the length of a prison sentence has anything to do with the severity of the crime.
