What’s in a name? An artificial and meaningless convention. We may (or may not) have been born with them, but so what?

I am [numbers omitted] according to the Canadian Government. I can tell them I am [Gimwinkle] but they still want my Social Insurance Number (Social Security Number, in the States.)

Because I have legally changed the name on my birth certificate several times, just who the hell am I?

To a stranger on the subway who detests my loud singing, I'm called, "Hey, You!" or "Asshole".

My wife calls me "老公" which means "husband". In rare English, she calls me "Honey".

You all, here, call me Gimwinkle. Some of you simply call me "Gim" or "Gimme" which I kind of like. Just don't call me "Honey". :)

When I fly, I am known by the tail number on my aircraft.

When I play a computer game online, I'm called "Monsterkilla". (Not really.)

When I refer to my little lover (of long ago), I can't even use Her actual name so I just call Her "S". My other little friends are just referred to by their first name's initial, too.

But, as I hear a little girl's name, it's the most beautiful sound in my ears that lets me identify Her. I have known little girls called "Joe", "Sam", and "Billie". I knew one little Chinese girl who's name I could not ever pronounce. I just called Her "Sweetie". The best... absolutely TOP BEST sound, is the sound of Her breath in my ear. There is no name for that feeling. Well, maybe love, but what is "love"?
