It's weird how, depending on your age, even liking legal girls who just reached their magic age is considered wrong and disgusting. Being with a girl who is "legal" in most of the world, but "illegal" in some parts of the world is seen as being no different than (actually) raping a 9 year old.

My time with my ex really showed me that. Also found out that relationships between adults and underage teens are a lot more common than I realized, not that polite society cares.
