True that the Bible tells us not to hide our lights, but on the other hand Gideon had his men hide their lights until the right moment came.

You have mentioned that you have been present online since the 1990s, and you remind me of several people from the online presence of that time. The pro-pedophile activists of that era played an important role in letting others know that they were not alone, and that there was nothing wrong with them - but that sort of brashness was often both refreshing and irritating at the same time. The real world consequences of revealing oneself at that time were too harsh for most people to take. That doesn't mean that more quiet folk were doing nothing, nor that they were cowardly - just that they were realistic about their prospects and did not feel suicidal.

It is my hope that a time will come when the sentiments you state are so common and accepted that few will understand how it could ever have been otherwise, but in the meantime ... well, I hope you will just try not to interfere with Gideon and his men. They need to keep their lights covered until they are in position.
