I'm not complaining about the hit

I'm complaining about how people are informed of it, why it happened, and what COULD have happened. A fender bender in a parking lot isn't the horrific and violent car smash that the media wants to scare you with. Unfortunately, I tend to be an isolationist. My country is MY country. My home is MY home. I should not go visiting your home and punch someone in the nose who has offended YOU.

If you ask me to be an older brother, then that's a different story. I'll help you fight a bully if that bully is overpowering you. But, if you've let someone shit in your pants and can't clean it up yourself, I'll hold off the bullies until you get yourself cleaned up, have a few boxing lessons under your belt, and they make sure it's a fight you can win.

But, the moment someone goes into your house, punches you in the nose and declares that I'm next, I don't bring out my own fists. I bring out a gun and terminate the guy where I find him. I'm too chicken (self preservation) to fight a fair fight. I cheat.
