Glad you're on point. More power to ya. You almost seem to be making a parallel to older homosexuals who to this very day prefer not to announce their persuasions. In their case, there is definitely little to be fearful of anymore. They just prefer not to be so "out" about it. It's not something they want to go flaming about and flaunting. I can appreciate that preference for being low-key about one's own predilection (bing bing, Dissy word!), especially from a generational perspective, and I'm sure there's lots of younger and out ("OUT!!!") people who mock and chastise them for it, or even call them outright enemies of the LGBT cause.
