I was not (nor would I ever) point fingers at anyone. I was just describing me.

My Dad gets angry at me sometimes when he demands that I go vote. I ask him, "Vote for what?"

"Whoever is running for office."

"Who is running?"

So, he tells me.

"So? I've never heard of them or what they want to do. Do you want me to just flip a coin?"

"No, damn it. Vote your conscience."

"I do."

"So, then. You did vote!"

"No. I told you; I voted my conscience."

"Huh?"

"I abstained from voting because that's what my conscience told me."
