evidence of rape in either of the cases I mentioned. However, I don't read everything about them; I'm not that interested, so maybe I'm wrong about that. I'm referring to the thoughts of say, "oooh, I'd like to tap THAT", which occur, I believe, in both sexes, often enough.
our surrounding culture being more permissive of sexual expressions from a man than from a female I see it the opposite and that is the implication in the latest "witch hunt" as you put it. I think women get away with more than men precisely because (mostly) only men are 'expected' to rape, not women. By the way these incidents have been described as I see it, I can tell you that I have been raped by a woman. But I have no interest in making that public and destroying her current family and professional success. BTW, pleased to meet you, welcome to GC, and thank you for participating. I don't mean to be argumentative. I'm basically agreeing with your OP. And I agree that rape is NOT in our nature but sexuality IS. Lust is too. Most of us don't 'honor' that lust with action. Power corrupts. I'm not making excuses for the men accused. But I am disgusted with the female accusers. [oh, and I would much rather discuss girl power than these damn scandals. hehe] ![]() |
