You do have a point. While I have seen greater willingness to doubt the state's narrative among AnComs and AnCaps, there remain a large number among both camps who believe this nonsense and even extend it. Perhaps this is because of the false claims that intergen relationships are all about adults abusing power, which may cause both groups to reflexively act against those they think of as imposing their will on others, without ever recognizing the irony of what they are doing.
