There are of course positives and negatives to everything. She might very well not go to foster care but that would be her choice. She may lose a rape case in court even if she was indeed raped but that would simply be innocent until proven guilty and such a system lets guilty people go free. It would be nice to have everything work perfect all the time but such is not the world.
