This happened to me too. My computers were taken and kept for more than a year, as the investigation took it's course. No charges were brought. Even so, the stress and uncertainty of the period was effectively a punishment exacted for admission of attraction. I have discovered through this experience that assurances of confidentiality don't necessarily mean much.
