Although I see the mental health profession as more of a religion than a profession I still think more accurate research as opposed to no research at all is good for our group as a whole. The trouble right now is that the debate is extremely cliched. What needs to happen is some new ideas need to be thrown into the mix. I think new research into the people who find children erotic will break the staleness of the current debate.
