What about someone who fits the stereotypes and is perceived that way by people who know him in RL? Or someone who is already hated by everyone?

That, I admit, would not be an individual that would bring an improved image to the MAP community by "coming out." Of course, the more people who are respected, or in some cases just average and generally likeable in that sense who came out, the more people of an unlikeable nature who happen to be MAPs would not end up causing such stereotypical behavior to be connected with MAPs in general. I hope that made sense.
