I've never said that a committed monogamous relationship was some ideal to impose on people. I said that prohibiting sex with much older people before the age of 16 does not prohibit the "good life". That's a very narrow assertion. It is very different from saying anything about what that good life actually is.

I'm not against getting sexual experience for the sake of experience, if that's what a person chooses to do. I tend to think that people are happier if they put off lifelong commitments until they are 18 or so. So there is plenty of time to start getting experience at age 16 if you want to choose someone much older than you.
