We weren't talking about learning about sex for the purposes of pleasure and fun and meaning and all. We were talking about the purpose of preventing sordid outcomes. I don't imagine anyone deciding the sordidness of an outcome depended on whether, say, she was able to tell him just how to give her an orgasm or not.
