Furtive?

Furtive: attempting to avoid notice or attention, typically because of a guilt or a belief that discovery would lead to trouble.

Suggestive of guilty nervousness.

Both entelechy and you were talking about a more transitory and fluid notion of relationships.

Correct me if I'm wrong here. But I don't think you meant "secretive" or "guilt ridden."
