I feel like an idiot. I didn't mean to suggest to you that you should seek another partner to break the law with. I know it sounded that way.

I also know in my heart that she was not the only one damaged deeply by the application of that law. I don't think YOU put her in that danger. THEY did. She was a victim as were you.

I so wish I could express my empathy for you and her better. I was trying to say you deserve to find another girl and love her, not that you should in this environment. It's still not coming out like I want; sorry, I don't know how to say it very well.

I can't imagine the pain of it.

I only wished you could find a girl and love her and never be punished for it.
