The reason so many people today look askance at such sweet and beautiful songs is because the hysteria has caused them to constantly be on a hyperized "pedo alert." They feel it's their solemn civic duty to do this. Their goal is clearly beyond simply identifying and suppressing any possible instance of adult attraction to minors. They instead believe it's the job of any "decent" person to attack and suppress anything that merely reminds their heavily conditioned minds of pedophilia, even if the real deal isn't actually present.
