I never assumed anything. I raised a question, which is very different from assuming a negative answer. Quotes from my post: "There are allusions to things that I don't get, so I'm putting those aside" (versus saying I know the whole story) "I see substantial possibility for iatrogenic harm" (not certainty), "I'm also uneasy about the emotional relationships" (not that I condemn them unequivocally as terrible).

I never suggested you were doing anything other than what you thought was best. I thought there might be (versus "were") aspects to the situation that weren't so great. You might have been missing some information or losing some perspective. What a terrible accusation, that you might not be perfect.

Maybe you think my concerns were so far-fetched that I lacked the GC equivalent of "probable cause" for raising an issue. I still don't.

If G9's privates stop itching, you can tell her that even that old bastard Ethan you met online had one small positive effect in the world. :-)
