I think he might be a little jealous. He also is facing the lesson of life that the world isn't fair. Sure, I'm kind to him and treat him well, that's just who I am. But when RG is involved, it's always her. I always take her side. I try to remain as neutral as possible, but I so rarely side with him that it's obvious that I favor her. At least she knows I favor her. MLG never did truly realize that I favored her, though MLG's brother knew it. As for RG's brother, he's always trying to be the center of attention, so when I divert attention from him, he takes note of it. Plus, he's at an age and among peers where boys tend to stick together and shun girls. That I would favor a girl over a boy is strange to him.
