However spelling and grammar are poor arguments at best in a discussion.

I don't like/dislike posters based strictly on their ability (or lack thereof) to use proper spelling and grammar, but I have noticed a correlation between trolls/shit posters and poor grammar and spelling. So when other bad signs are present, I do use it as another bad sign in that instance and as a signifying factor.
