I'm glad you like it. To be honest, I stole the basic idea many years ago from a poster who called himself "Torpaedo". I thought it was brilliant that he had taken the "ae" from the British spelling of Pedophile and stuffed it into another word to create this great compound. So I stole his idea and made it my own. (Thanks, Torp, wherever you are!)

The commonly understood meaning of "pedestrian" is a person walking, but there's another meaning not used as much: it also means commonplace or uninteresting. So the name "Paedestrian" is not only a play on words with the spelling; to me it really signifies that pedophilia is very common, that I am a completely normal person, and that my sexuality should be uninteresting to the world. I still hope to see that last part happen - at least to some extent - within my lifetime.
