Providing only anarchy for your child would be irresponsible and neglectful. They need rules and need to learn behaviors. You may think a set of behaviors is superior to what I consider "right," but good parenting necessitates that A set of rules is chosen. I think you might have misinterpreted "rules" to mean only "restrictions." That is not what I meant.
